Someone who loves us for who we are, for good or for bad accept us completely. But where to look for? The answer is quite plain but thought provoking. Look inside! Yes as we try to find the love and respect we think we are worthy of, we forget to ask this vital question to ourselves, do we love and respect our self the way we expect others to respect us? It all begins at home!
Yes the looking for love process begins with our self. First we must love us, to the full heart. The love and acceptance we seek from another person is to feel we are needed, is to know that we are important to someone. But there is one more thing to it. GOD has created us out of pure love and He lives in our Hearts and as humans we are Bound to love.
I wake up each morning and say Thank You God for whatever I have today. It’s important to say it every day even though I say it for same things each day; for having a loving husband, kids, but still I repeat every day. That is how love flows through me. This flowing love is a powerful energy that enables me to help myself in my everyday life and help and coach others too. The answer to how to find the love of my life, became obvious to me long ago.
As a young woman who has just entered her twenties, I had no different perspective of love and life than others. I was too looking for a soul mate, a perfect match, only to realize after going through a lot of heart ache, that I did not respected myself the way I should. The love was to begin in my heart, once overflowing, the love and I can become one. Now I am 40 plus lady living in harmony and a heart that is content.
Now it has become obvious to me that if we look for the love we deserve in the outside world, we may never find it until we fill our heart with our own love. It not only brings more love to us, but can heal a broken heart too. Yes seeking outside validation without feeling being validated from within will leave us only searching. So converge your attention to your heart and the God will send back His love. That Is the Greatest love and truly heals. Even if you are not looking to start a relationship, loving and respecting yourself is important, as it will surround you with people who love you and respect you.
